Mind Body Optimization, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Private Practice Therapist to provide high-quality individual, couple, and family therapy in an outpatient setting.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, formulate diagnoses and treatment plans, deliver crisis intervention when needed, document in the EHR, and collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other providers. The role emphasizes patient education, advocacy, and adherence to ethical and regulatory standards.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work preferred.
• Two years of experience in private practice setting preferred.
• Must be independently licensed and in good standing as an LPC, LCSW, or equivalent. Will accept provisionally licensed associates.

Responsabilidades

• Provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy based on expertise and client needs.
• Conduct intake evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Formulate accurate psychiatric diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments for patients experiencing acute mental health issues.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other providers to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Refer patients to higher levels of care to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families about psychiatric conditions, treatment options, medication adherence, and self-care strategies.
• Advocate for patient needs within the healthcare system and community resources.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system and ensure compliance with clinic policies.
