Job summary

Mind Body Optimization 1 seeks a licensed mental health professional to provide evidence-based therapy in an outpatient clinic. You will conduct intake assessments, develop customized treatment plans, and deliver individual, couple, or family therapy tailored to client goals.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, perform crisis interventions, and maintain compliant documentation in the EHR system. This is a full‑time role with emphasis on quality care and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work.
• Two years of experience in private practice; substance use experience preferred.
• Must be independently licensed and in good standing as an LPC, LCSW, or equivalent; provisional license accepted.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, OSHA, CMS, DHS, State Regulations, and Federal Regulatory Standards; TB testing, Drug Screening, and Background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy based on expertise and client needs.
• Conduct thorough intake evaluations, including patient history, mental status examinations, and diagnostic assessments.
• Formulate accurate psychiatric diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments for patients experiencing acute mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Refer patients to higher levels of care or additional services as needed, ensuring continuity of care.
