Job summary

Mind Body Optimization, Inc. in Brookshire, TX is seeking a Private Practice Therapist to deliver high-quality mental health services in an outpatient setting, conducting assessments, and creating individualized treatment plans.

The therapist will work independently while collaborating with psychiatrists, therapists, and other providers to ensure comprehensive patient care and advocacy. Must be independently licensed and hold a master’s degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work from an accredited program.
• Two years of experience in private practice preferred.
• Experience in substance use treatment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy based on client needs.
• Conduct intake evaluations, including history, mental status, and assessments.
• Formulate accurate psychiatric diagnoses and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments for patients experiencing acute mental health issues.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR system.
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards in psychiatric practice.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
