Job summary

Dartmouth Partners in New York is seeking an Associate for its growing Secondaries team. You will work on a broad range of complex secondary transactions, collaborating with private equity sponsors, institutional investors and senior deal professionals.

The role focuses on executing GP-led and LP-led transactions, building models, and preparing investment analyses across private market assets. Strong communication and multi-tasking across live deals are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in investment banking or related field.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
• Experience in private equity or private capital transactions preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple live processes.
• Genuine interest in private markets and the growing secondaries market.

Responsibilities

• Execute GP-led and LP-led secondary transactions, including continuation vehicles, tender offers and portfolio sales.
• Build financial models and conduct valuation and transaction analysis across private market assets.
• Prepare client materials, transaction documentation and investment analyses.
• Coordinate due diligence and manage deal processes from initial evaluation through closing.
• Work directly with senior bankers, sponsors and institutional investors across live transactions.
