Job summary

Piper Sandler & Co. is seeking an experienced Analyst or Associate to join the Secondary Capital Advisory team in New York City.

The team advises private equity sponsors and LPs on secondary transactions, with a focus on continuation vehicles and liquidity of private assets. The role requires 2–5 years in investment banking or private equity secondaries, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong analytical, communication, and project-management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with exemplary academic record.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work on complex projects under tight deadlines.
Exceptional work ethic and enthusiasm.
FINRA SIE, 63 and 79 licenses or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

Prepare materials for confidential information memorandums, pitches, client presentations and due diligence documents.
Build financial projection models for underlying companies and fund level returns.
Conduct new investor outreach and participate in investor calls/meetings.
Facilitate due diligence and legal negotiations.
Interface with private equity clients, management teams and investors.
Assist in screening and due diligence on prospective new mandates.
Communicate with Private Capital Advisory professionals and Piper Sandler's M&A teams.
