Job summary

CPP Investments is seeking an Associate, Secondaries in New York to support evaluation and execution of private equity secondary investments, working with LP and GP-led transactions. You will conduct investment research, build financial models and assist due diligence.

The role requires 1–3 years in secondaries or related fields, a solid CFA is a plus, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and excellent communication. Willingness to be based in New York and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years in secondaries, private equity, IB, or consulting.
• CFA designation or progress is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Research markets and companies to support due diligence.
• Develop and maintain financial models; perform valuation analysis.
• Participate in due diligence with stakeholders and analyze opportunities.
• Prepare investment memoranda and recommendations with the deal team.
• Present analysis during investment discussions and Q&A sessions.
• Monitor portfolio performance and update models as needed.
• Support multiple deal teams in execution and portfolio work.
