Job summary

G MASS Consulting seeks an Alternative Operations professional to support lifecycle management of private debt and private equity investments across a growing alternatives platform. Qualifications

• Strong client-facing soft skills; able to take direction, learn quickly and own a workstream.
• Collaborates effectively with client teams and internal stakeholders.
• Some exposure to loans terminology or middle-office operations is helpful.
• Direct AltOps background not required if soft-skills and trainability are strong.
• Ability to work in a controlled, detail-oriented environment with accuracy and timeliness.
• Able to manage multiple transactions and priorities in a fast-paced alternatives platform.

Responsibilities

• Support settlement and day-to-day operations of private debt and private equity investments across deal facilitation, settlement processing, income accounting and cash wire controls.
• Involve in asset lifecycle activities: asset setup, ticket preparation, settlement confirmations, reconciliations, vaulting requests, investigations.
• Familiarize with physical security registration processes and assist in debt restructurings, amendments and refinancing events.
• Coordinate loan agency activities: drawdowns, repayments, interest calculations, covenant-driven events; ensure accuracy of processes.
• Review and maintain lifecycle accounting events: P&I, fees, expenses, capital calls, distributions.
• Work with Front Office, Legal, Finance and custodians/administrators; build trust and cross-functional collaboration.
