Job summary

Sage Haus is seeking a Household Manager with Meal Prep for a busy rural Iowa home. Part-time, 10–16 hours weekly with guaranteed hours, you’ll plan dinners, prep ingredients, and manage grocery delivery while keeping the home organized and supported with calendar and administrative duties.

You’ll coordinate errands, laundry, vehicle upkeep, and occasional childcare, delivering reliable, proactive help. Flexible scheduling and growth potential as needs evolve.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a household manager or family assistant role.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Mileage reimbursement provided for work-related errands.
• Familiarity with Skylight calendar app is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Meal Planning & Prep: plan five dinners weekly using on-hand ingredients, prepare ahead, create grocery lists, keep kitchen tidy.
• Administrative & Calendar Support: manage Skylight calendar, sort mail, scan and organize documents, track receipts.
• Household Organization & Management: daily light tidying and occasional holiday support.
• Laundry & Linen Care: assist with laundry and maintain tidy laundry areas.
• Inventory & Errands: manage supply lists, oversee orders/subscriptions, track packages.
• Vehicle Upkeep: coordinate maintenance and renewals for six vehicles.
• Pet Care: maintain pet supplies and administer medications as needed.
• Family Support: occasional backup childcare and date-night/travel coverage.
• Deep Cleaning & Special Projects: occasional deep-cleaning and organizational tasks.
