Job summary

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Private Event Sales Manager to drive private dining and catering bookings. You will coordinate details with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and repeat business.

Responsibilities include planning annual sales budgets, developing marketing plans, and promoting the restaurant locally through networking and events while adhering to PHG guidelines and values.

Qualifications

• Pursue private event business from multiple sources to book high volumes.
• Coordinate event details with General Manager, Executive Chef and team to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure all event charges align with contracts and approved guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform in accordance with all Company and RCSH operating guidelines, standards, policies, procedures, and PHG Values.
• Maintain professional demeanor, a clean and presentable uniform, and practice positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all shifts.
• Actively monitor each private event with a focus on hospitality, ensuring each guest is greeted upon arrival, oversee event execution, and ensure complete guest satisfaction.
• Ensure items provided to guests/VIPs outside of the outlined contract are captured and accurately charged as intended.
• Foster relationships with guests/VIPs who book events to maintain repeat business and prospect for new business.
• Plan, organize, and coordinate with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and Team Members to ensure excellence in execution and complete guest satisfaction.
• Partner closely with the FOH Managers and Executive Chef on event logistics and menus.
• Provide training and coaching to the Assistant Sales Manager, if any, and assist them when needed.
• Develop annual sales budgets, create marketing plans, and coordinate execution with the management team.
• Review all catering and private party sales to compare to prior year sales and current budget, and establish strategic plans to meet goals.
• Promote the restaurant locally by participating in networking opportunities and community events to build sales.
