Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Washington, DC seeks a Private Equity Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong drafting, writing, and analytical abilities, and provide strategic legal insight in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Candidates must have solid M&A/PE background, excellent academic credentials, and a track record of client service. Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction is required; large-firm PE exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of private equity and M&A experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate purchase and merger agreements, LLC and LP agreements, and other transaction documents.
• Meet the day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients.
• Collaborate with client business teams to provide strategic legal advice.
