Job summary

Hudson Gate Partners is seeking a Human Capital/Talent Associate in New York to join a newly created role supporting internal and portfolio talent initiatives. You will work closely with senior Human Capital leadership, gaining exposure to private equity, executive talent, organizational effectiveness, and strategic HR across the firm and its portfolio companies.

Location: New York, NY; Work arrangement: Hybrid – minimum three days in office, balancing portfolio work with collaborative in-office

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Talent, Executive Search, HC Consulting, or related field.
• Strong HR best practices, talent mapping, and executive search knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; HRIS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead performance management cycle components, including annual reviews and goal setting.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and surveys.
• Advise CHRO and HC team on strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate HR Council and communicate with portfolio HR leaders.
• Plan and execute HC events and leadership programs.
• Conduct research for executive searches and deal-related talent.
• Monitor executive movement and leadership pipelines.
• Manage HC data across firm and portfolios, including comp and board composition.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support talent strategy.
• Contribute to knowledge management and reporting across HC.
