Job summary

DiligenceSquared is seeking its first marketing hire to shape and own our marketing narrative for the private equity market. You’ll build content, paid distribution, partnerships, events and PR with direct exposure to the founders and executive team.

We target deal teams at leading PE funds, turning insights from client work into credible, high-impact content that drives pipeline. This role offers early equity and a high-ownership environment in a YC-backed firm.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in marketing or client-facing roles, ideally in private markets or high-trust B2B environments
• Excellent writing translating complex ideas for investment audiences
• Strong editorial and brand judgment for credible, sharp content
• Ability to host senior audiences and represent the firm professionally
• High initiative with POV development and ownership of execution
• Fluent with AI tools to speed up quality work
• Commercial and analytical mindset; understands program cost and value
• Hands-on and adaptable; able to shape strategy and execute detail

Responsibilities

• Organic content: manage content calendar and cross-channel publishing
• Paid marketing: run and optimize campaigns across LinkedIn and search
• Partnerships: build marketing partnerships and co-marketing activities
• PR: secure podcasts, conferences and media coverage
• Events: own events end to end including concept and follow-up
• Website & search: manage site content and landing pages; improve discoverability
• Measurement: track performance and inform budget decisions
