Qualifications

• 4+ years of private equity experience.
• JD from an accredited law school (LLM or foreign equivalent acceptable).
• Admitted to NY bar or ability to become.

• Commercial and business awareness.
• Excellent drafting and communication skills.
• Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Represent private equity sponsors in M&A transactions and related investments.
• Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents.
• Supervise and train junior associates involved in transactions.
• Manage the execution of deals from inception to closing.
• Provide strategic legal advice to private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth transaction processes.
