White & Case LLP's M&A Practice in New York is seeking a midlevel associate with private equity experience to join the M&A Corporate / PE team. You will advise sponsors and portfolio companies on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, JVs, restructurings, and general corporate matters.

Ideal candidates will have excellent academic credentials and strong drafting, writing and analytical abilities, with attention to detail, organizational and project management skills.

Formación

• 4+ years of predominantly private equity experience.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school (LLM or foreign equivalent acceptable).
• Admitted to the New York bar or eligible for admission in good standing.
• Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills; attention to detail.
• Fluency in English.
• Commercial and business awareness.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Represent private equity sponsors in M&A transactions.
• Draft and negotiate complex transaction documents.
• Supervise and train junior associates.
• Manage the execution of deals from inception to closing.
• Provide strategic legal advice to sponsors and portfolio companies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth processes.
