Job summary

Internationalinsuranceprofessionals is seeking a Fund Accountant to join the finance team in Boston. The role focuses on supporting fund accounting, financial reporting, capital activity, and investor processes within a private equity context.

The role requires 2–6 years of fund accounting or related experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel and communication skills. CPA progression is a plus, with exposure to private equity, private credit, and other investment funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting and reporting for private equity funds and related vehicles.
• Review NAV packages, financial statements, and investor reporting.
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
• Prepare and review fund reconciliations, cash activity, and investment transactions.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, fund administrators, and other service providers.
• Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
• Assist with portfolio investment tracking and performance reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
