Job summary

State Street is seeking a Private Equity NAV professional in New Jersey to supervise fund administration, lead a small team, and manage client deadlines. This role interfaces with investors, auditors, and internal groups to ensure accurate reporting and timely deliverables.

Ideal candidates will have 5–6 years in private equity, strong accounting skills, and experience with Investran or Geneva. CPA is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–6 years of Private Equity experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA qualification is favourable but not required.
• Experience with alternative investment asset classes and complex fund structures.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in a high‑pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff at Associate and Senior Associate levels.
• Manage internal workflow and client deadlines.
• Maintain strong client relationships and daily liaison with client personnel.
• Coordinate relationships with investment professionals, auditors, lawyers and banks.
• Review quarterly and annual financial work papers, schedules, accruals, and partner capital.
• Review and coordinate annual audits and complex fee calculations.
