Job summary

Jobot seeks a Fund Accounting Manager in Dallas to oversee daily PE fund operations, mentor teams, and drive client service excellence. You will partner with Directors to manage complex accounting and reporting across the full fund lifecycle.

Ideal candidate brings deep PE fund accounting expertise, strong leadership, and a passion for delivering high-quality results for premier sponsors. This role offers growth and exposure to innovative funds.

Qualifications

• Strong private equity fund accounting experience.
• Proven leadership and team mentoring skills.
• Ability to analyze LPAs and governing documents.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Directors to oversee daily fund operations.
• Independently manage accounting activities for PE funds.
• Serve as primary client contact with limited oversight.
• Summarize key economics from LPAs and fund documents.
• Supervise and develop accounting team members.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, financial statements, waterfalls, IRR calculations.
• Review fund deliverables prior to senior leadership review.
• Perform complex analyses of financial reporting and private equity transactions.
• Support onboarding of new client fund structures.
• Drive process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Ensure high-quality client service and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on fund reporting matters.
