Oliver Wyman in the United States is seeking experienced Engagement Managers for its Private Equity practice across North America. You will lead due diligence engagements and post-transaction work for PE funds and portfolio companies, delivering data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience with commercial and operational due diligence in a management consulting firm.
• Experience across or within Private Equity industries.
• Knowledge of customer research techniques (interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc.).
• Strong strategic problem solving with demonstrable analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication in formal and informal settings.
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree from a strong academic program.
• Proactive with initiative and willingness to learn new skills.
• Creative thinker who can generate novel solutions.
• Aptitude for analytical work and identifying key issues in complex challenges.
• Willingness to work fluidly with a talented team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute due diligence engagements and post‑transaction engagements for private equity funds and their portfolio companies.
• Ensure findings are insightful and data-driven.
• Provide thought leadership at a strategic level and manage execution details.
• Develop strong client relationships through clear communication.
