HedgeServ is expanding its Private Equity Department in Raleigh, leveraging advanced technology and a client‑focused service model. The Private Equity Director will lead a team, ensure NAV delivery, and strengthen client relationships in a fast‑growing asset management space.

The role requires 10+ years in hedge fund administration, with supervisory experience, strong communication, and a track record of developing talent. Remote and hybrid work options are available with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in hedge fund administration with at least 3 years at supervisor level.
• Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Business Degree.
• Intention to pursue ACCA, CIMA, CPA or ACA is advantageous but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good people manager with ability to coach and develop a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be flexible and work well in a team or independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the Private Equity team.
• Ensure timely NAV calculations and financial statement delivery.
• Manage fee calculations and profit/loss allocations.
• Lead waterfall creation and maintenance for funds.
• Oversee IRRs and performance reporting for clients.
• Coordinate client and investor reporting with MDs and supervisors.
• Maintain documented control environment and compliance.
• Develop and mentor up to 10 team members.
• Support fund audits and client onboarding/transitions.
