Job summary

Coda Search│Staffing is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to support portfolio valuation, fund accounting, and financial reporting for a growing client base in New York. You will interact with the CFO/Controller and external administrators to ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly close packages, NAV, and returns.

The role requires advanced Excel/VBA skills, experience with Investran, and CPA considerations.

Qualifications

4+ years in Accounting, Audit or Tax field with hands-on experience.
CPA or CPA in progress highly preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration with management.

Responsibilities

Assist portfolio valuations including optimization, risk analytics, and performance attribution.
Manage fund financials as prepared by external administrator for timeliness and quality.
Prepare monthly performance estimates, NAV packages, allocations, and fund returns.
Prepare journal entries, trial balance, balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.
Support cash management forecasts and debt facility oversight for investment readiness.
Collaborate with CFO/Controller on firm reporting and reconciliations.
Review management fee calculations and daily GL functions.
Ensure efficiencies across middle-office operations and accounting processes.
