Boutique Private Equity Fund in NYC looking to hire Assistant Controller / Controller. The role reports to the CFO, will oversee all accounting and finance functions, and support growth initiatives for the firm.

Base pay range

$180,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Oversee and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage the accounting close process
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting processes, and variance analyses to support management decisions
• Help maintain, document, and improve internal controls and accounting policies
• Support management & performance fee calculations and prepare supporting schedules
• Generate reporting for limited partners and internal stakeholders, including portfolio company performance, capital activity, and other metrics
• Assist in integrating financial systems or platform improvements, process automation, etc.

Qualifications / Experience

• Experience in private equity or investment management environments preferred
• Strong accounting background with consolidation, financial reporting, and controls
• Ability to work in a collaborative, growth-oriented team
