Mercor is seeking an experienced private equity associate to build a working financial model from a synthetic deal document pack for a real estate transaction. You will deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions.

You will also peer-review two anonymized models from other contractors against a fixed set of criteria, providing a short rationale and a completed review scorecard, ensuring high-quality analysis and consistency across the deal team.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years total experience required.
• Associate at a real-estate-focused mid-market or upper-mid-market PE fund.
• Able to build a financial model from source documents, without a template.
• Fluent English.

Mercor is hiring experienced private equity associates to build a financial model from a synthetic deal document pack, then peer-review models built by two other contractors on the same transaction.

What you'll do

• Build a working financial model of an assigned real estate transaction from a synthetic deal document pack
• Deliver an editable Excel workbook with live formulas, source references, and stated assumptions
• Peer-review two anonymized models from other contractors against a fixed set of criteria, with a short written rationale for each and a completed review scorecard

Requirements

• 2–4 years total experience: ~2 years investment banking (Real Estate or Industrials) followed by 1–2 years in private equity
• Currently or recently an Associate at a real-estate-focused mid-market or upper-mid-market PE fund
• Able to build a financial model from source documents, without a template
• Fluent English
