Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Oakland, CA is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide in-home care to pediatric and/or adult patients under contracted services. The role requires an active RN license in the state, a current health certificate, and up-to-date PPD/Chest X-Ray and BLS.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, administering medications, and coordinating care with families. One year of RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate as required by facility contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the home setting.
• Initiates plans of care and updates as patient needs change.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed; documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and provides healthcare teaching and discharge planning as applicable.
