Job summary

AdvisaCare in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Private Duty RN Clinical Supervisor to lead private duty nursing services and ensure delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

You will supervise staff, conduct visits, develop care plans with interdisciplinary teams, participate in staff training, and assist with program development. Travel within the service area may be required; we offer competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan.
• Minimum 2 years in home health care, leadership preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to perform hands-on patient care as needed.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel within the service area as required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide clinical guidance to private duty nursing staff.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and agency policies.
• Conduct supervisory visits and assessments to monitor patient care and staff performance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide hands-on patient care when necessary to support staff and ensure quality outcomes.
• Participate in staff training and development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
• Assist with program development and quality improvement initiatives.
