AdvisaCare Home Health Care in Troy, NY is seeking a Nursing Supervisor of Private Duty to lead our growing private duty program. The role requires hands-on patient care experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with compassion.

The supervisor will oversee business development, strategic planning, and collaboration with the marketing team while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of Home Health Care Leadership experience.

AdvisaCare Home Health Care is seeking a strong Nursing Supervisor of Private Duty for our Troy Office location. The ability to build rapport and relationships with our staff and clients is critical. Attention to detail and an aptitude to manage multiple priorities is important. No two days are the same! The Nursing Supervisor of Private Duty should be quick on their feet, wear a smile and carry compassion in their heart. The Nursing Supervisor of Private Duty must be an independent, proactive, enthusiastic and motivated professional with experience in Home Health Care.

Your specific duties as a Nursing Supervisor of Private Duty will include but not be limited to:

• Overseeing business and program development
• Developing and implementing short- and long-term strategic plans for the agency
• Taking responsibility for business growth, as well as coordinating with and providing oversight for our marketing team
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Ensuring State and Federal regulatory compliance as it pertains to Private Duty
• Overseeing patient care services delivered
• Must have hands on patient care experience and able to work in the field as needed
• Training the staff on client specific needs
• Supervisory visits to ensure clients needs are being met
• Minimum of two (2) years of Home Health Care Leadership experience

• Demonstrate good communication and public relations skills
• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Possess a Registered Nurse License in the state of MI
