Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School is seeking licensed nurses to provide private duty home care services for pediatric and adult clients in Denton, MD. The role focuses on one-on-one care, ongoing assessments, and adherence to the patient’s Plan of Care.

You'll work in clients' homes, document nursing notes, and collaborate with supervising nurses. Training in G-tube, Trach, and ventilator care is available; CPR/BLS certification required, active Maryland license, and independence essential.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or multistate license (LPN/RN).
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence to work independently in clients' homes.
• G-tube/Trach care knowledge preferred; willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client’s home and perform nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments per Plan of Care.

Private Duty for a 13 y/o male with g-tube in Denton, MD.

Saturday: 11P-9A

Sunday: 11P-9A

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
