Job summary

East Palestine Elementary School seeks a Private Duty Nurse (LPN or RN) to provide in-home care for a 38-year-old male with a g-tube in Carney, MD. Shifts include Monday and Wednesday, 8:30A-4:30P, with flexible training offered for G-tube/trach care and vent support.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and document notes clearly in the patient’s Plan of Care. CPR/BLS certification is required, and pediatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or Multistate compact.
• as a nurse, you must hold an LPN or RN license.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• willing to train qualified candidates in areas like G-tube and trach care.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client’s home.
• Perform complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.

The following shift's are available for this case:

• Monday: 8:30A-4:30P
• Wednesday: 8:30A-4:30P

Job Responsibilities:

• Working one-on-one in the client's home
• Complete nursing assessment
• Administer medication & and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care
• Document nursing notes in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirements:

• Active/unrestricted nursing license in the State of Maryland or Multistate compact license - Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Confidence to work independently
• Basic knowledge of G-tube/Trach care is preferred; however, willing to train qualified and interested candidates.
• Vent experience preferred (willing to train qualified candidates)
• Pediatric experience a plus

Benefits/Salary Information:

• Pay Range: $26-42 per hour. Pay rates are determined by licensure, skills, experience, and varies per case.
• Employees will receive time and a half pay for working beyond 40 hours in a week.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance are available after 90 days of continuous full-time employment
