South Port Square in Port Charlotte, FL, seeks hospitality-driven Home Health Aides to assist residents with personal care and daily tasks. Under supervision of the care coordinator, you will document services and ensure safety and quality of care for seniors in our community.

Role is PRN/Per-Diem on weekends with competitive benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401K. CPR and HHA/CNA credentials are required or in good standing, with a focus on compassionate, self-directed assistance.

Formación

• Current HHA certificate or CNA license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous HHA experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to read, follow written instructions, and document services.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with personal care: showers, dressing, grooming.
• Assist with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and social interaction.
• Provide medication reminders as prescribed.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks (laundry, tidying).
• Assist residents with attending medical appointments.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Home Health Aides work under the supervisor of the care coordinator and performs various personal care and support services as necessary to meet the resident’s needs. The Aide is responsible for observing clients, reporting and recording these observations and documenting the services provided and the assignments will promote quality, continuity and safety of services.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Private Duty HHA:

• Personal care assistance such as showers, dressing, grooming


• Shopping and errands


• Companionship


• Medication reminders


• Light housekeeping such as laundry


• Assistance with going to medical appointments

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Current HHA certificate or CNA license


• Current CPR certification.


• Previous HHA experience great but not required.


• Has the ability to read, follow written instructions, and document services provided.


• Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision.


• Is kind, reliable, and compassionate.

PRN/Per-Diem WEEKENDS

Salary: $16.00 per hour
