Job summary

Elk Valley, a part of the LHC Group and UnitedHealth Group family, is seeking a Private Duty CNA in Carthage, Tennessee. You will provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living to help clients remain in their own homes, while documenting care and coordinating with team members.

Preferred candidates have CPR certification, at least 6 months of home care experience, and the ability to work flexible hours; a TN training requirement of 75 hours (16 clinical) applies within the

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
• TN: 75 hours of training including 16 clinical hours within first 3 months; qualified for basic services
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
