Homestead Health Care is hiring for Private Duty caregivers in the Clinton Township, MI area. As a caregiver, you will support elderly clients with physical and emotional assistance, forming meaningful connections. We offer flexible shifts from 4 to 12 hours, starting at $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

1. Using transfer assistive devices like Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and slide boards.
2. Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and walking.
3. Monitoring health changes and communicating with healthcare team.
4. Maintaining a clean environment and using medical devices properly.
5. Developing meaningful activities and assisting with repositioning.
6. Transporting clients and completing documentation.
7. Preparing nutritious meals and providing companionship.

Minimum requirements:

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Experience with medication passing.
• Criminal background check clearance.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable transportation within 25 miles.
• Weekend availability.
