Job summary

Aqua Restaurant Group is seeking a Private Events Manager in New York to lead a talented team behind our private dining experiences. You will drive events from concept to execution, coordinating with clients and internal departments to deliver memorable occasions in Flatiron venues.

This role requires hospitality leadership, event planning experience, and the ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• A few years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a customer service/hospitality role.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software.
• Experience in event planning.
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work long hours and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate new private dining business opportunities.
• Conduct site visits with potential clients.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote private dining offerings.
• Plan and assist with execution of events, including contracts and Banquet Event Orders.
• Coordinate with restaurant departments to ensure events' success.
• Maintain accurate correspondence of private dining bookings and client information.
