Job summary

Neuberger in New York City is seeking a Specialty Finance Trade Administrator to manage end-to-end trade and transaction lifecycle for structured private credit and whole loans. You will coordinate with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Operations, Compliance, and external counterparties to ensure accurate system records.

The role requires strong OMS/EMS proficiency, advanced Excel skills, and experience coordinating private deal closes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 4–7+ years in trade administration, middle office, or fund operations.
• Experience with trade support for public securities or private credit.
• Experience coordinating private deal closes, funding/wire coordination.
• Strong OMS/EMS proficiency and cross-asset trade lifecycle knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills with large datasets and controls.
• Experience with agent banks / loan administration platforms.
• Excellent communication across stakeholders.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and escalation.
• Ownership mindset for time-sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support trading account and security master set-up activities.
• Validate completeness and accuracy of transaction booking across trading, operations, and finance.
• Coordinate trade administration for whole loan acquisitions, including onboarding, data validation, trade capture, allocation, funding coordination, documentation review, and settlement.
• Engage with deal team on private asset transactions approaching close: capture deal economics, confirm system set-up, and ensure booking is complete and accurate
• Coordinate with brokers (public) and agent banks/counterparties (private) on execution details, corrections, and documentation requirements.
• Reconcile trade capture between OMS/EMS, broker confirms, matching platforms, and accounting books; ensure prompt correction of discrepancies.
• Escalate fails risk and aged exceptions; coordinate remediation plans with internal and external counterparties.
