JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks an analyst to join the CIB Credit Trading & Financing organization, supporting the Private Credit Financing team.

This fast-paced role involves analysis and valuation of a diverse portfolio of private credit assets pledged as collateral to support corporate borrowings. You will work closely with senior analysts to assess risks on new transactions, perform in-depth credit analysis across industries, and develop valuation and mark recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, business, engineering, accounting, or related quantitative field.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with GAAP accounting, financial reporting analysis, and financial modeling/Excel.
• Strong MS Office skills.
• Entrepreneurial work ethic—self-starter, intellectually curious, eager to learn.
• Superior time management and multi-tasking to juggle live transactions and daily tasks.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze middle market credit investments in collaboration with Private Credit Financing teams.
• Perform credit analysis of portfolio loan investments, identifying business risks and mitigants.
• Develop draft mark recommendations for new loans by analyzing the underlying business, credit structure, loan spread, and all other relevant information.
• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and credit underwriting & documentation.
• Monitor the portfolio through ongoing review of sector trends and quarterly financials.
