Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks an Analyst to join the CIB Credit Trading & Financing organization, supporting the Private Credit Financing team.

You will analyze a diverse private credit portfolio, assess risks on new transactions, and develop valuation and mark recommendations alongside senior staff. The role requires strong quantitative skills, experience with GAAP and financial modeling, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, engineering, accounting, or related field.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with GAAP accounting, financial reporting analysis, and financial modeling/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze middle market credit investments in collaboration with Private Credit Financing teams
• Perform credit analysis of portfolio loan investments, identifying business risks and mitigants
• Develop draft mark recommendations for new loans by analyzing the underlying business, credit structure, loan spread, and all other relevant information
• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and credit underwriting & documentation
• Monitor the portfolio through ongoing review of sector trends and quarterly financial
