Job summary

Selby Jennings represents a North Carolina-based private credit firm seeking a Private Credit Associate to join their lean deal team. The role offers extensive hands-on transaction exposure across industries including business services, industrials and manufacturing.

The Associate will perform market research, financial modeling, valuation and returns analysis for targets and support operating/portfolio company work as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Investment Banking experience performing M&A with a reputable middle market or lower middle market bank
• Superior financial analysis, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting skills (there will be a modeling test)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and exceptional work ethic
• Prior experience or interest in sectors such as business services, industrials, manufacturing and/or consumer
