Job summary

The Madison Club in La Quinta, CA is seeking a Server to contribute to a premier member and guest dining experience. You will demonstrate excellent customer service, deep menu knowledge, and attention to detail during service, helping to create the distinctive Discovery Land Company experience.

You will greet guests, advise on beverages and pairings, manage POS transactions, and uphold food safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of serving experience in a full-service environment.
• Knowledge of ServSafe, HACCP, and local food safety standards.
• Robust knowledge of wines and beverages.
• Extraordinary attention to detail, quality, and service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and communication with members/guests and team members.
• Greet guests politely and anticipate needs to enhance experience.
• Present knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and pairings.
• Enter transactions into POS, issue checks, and close sales accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety standards.
• Ensure orders are complete and accurate before delivery.
