Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a professional server for our premium dining environment in La Quinta, CA. You will provide excellent service, know the menu inside out, and work with a dedicated team to deliver a flawless guest experience.

You will greet guests, suggest wine pairings, handle POS transactions, and ensure orders are accurate while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout long service periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of serving experience in a full service environment.
• Knowledge of ServSafe, HACCP and local food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and communication with members, guests, and team members.
• Greet guests and members politely; anticipate needs and respond promptly.
• Present knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and beverages; make recommendations.
• Enter transactions into POS; issue accurate checks and close sales per policies.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of orders; maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Follow safety standards and complete opening/closing duties; report maintenance issues.
