Job summary

TPC Sugarloaf, part of the PGA TOUR network, seeks a friendly, service-oriented team member to support members and guests with golf-related needs on-site in Duluth, GA. You will handle golf cart operations, assist with bag handling, and provide course information to ensure an enjoyable experience.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service in an active outdoor setting, greeting guests, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with the Golf Shop to uphold club rules and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in customer service, preferably at a country club or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist PGA TOUR players, Members and guests with golfing needs to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
• Greet and welcome members and guests.
• Assist in pulling golf cars from the facility to the bag staging area at opening.
• Load and unload golf bags, drive golf cars as needed to staging areas.
• Provide information to members and guests to help them play the course (e.g., yardage markers).
• Stock and clean golf cars with towels, scorecards, pencils, and divot repair material; wash as needed.
• At closing, return golf cars to the facility and plug into chargers.
• Keep Golf Car Facility clean and orderly; update service records.
• Perform maintenance on golf cars as needed and support the practice facility operations, including ball retrieval and setup.
• Ensure equipment and clubs are properly handled and returned to members/guests; adhere to club rules and policies.
• Support other duties as assigned by the Golf Shop staff.
