Job summary

Edina Country Club is seeking a General Manager who will serve as the primary liaison between the Board and club staff, translating strategic direction into daily leadership. The GM will ensure collaborative operations across departments and drive financial performance in support of the club’s mission.

The successful candidate will strengthen accountability, build a high-performing leadership team, advance master and capital planning, and reinforce a family-oriented culture valued by members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, club management, finance, or a related field preferred.
• Progressive leadership experience within private clubs, hospitality, resorts, or another sophisticated service-oriented organization.
• Experience as General Manager, COO, Assistant GM, or similar senior leadership in private clubs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, oversight and professional development for the Club’s senior leadership and department heads.
• Oversee the Club’s financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial reporting.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors and Club management with timely reporting and governance.
• Translate strategy into operational execution while maintaining governance and member experience.
• Develop and lead master and capital plans and ensure coordination across departments.
