Job summary

Homestead Country Club in Prairie Village, KS, seeks a General Manager to own the on-site P&L and lead a full leadership team in a hands-on, member-first operation. You will set strategy with ownership and report to regional leadership, ensuring exceptional member experiences across clubs and events.

You'll build a first-class team, drive membership growth and retention, and maintain a secure, well-run facility while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of GM or equivalent P&L leadership at a country or racquet club.
• Proven ability to own a property-level P&L and lead a department-head team.
• Membership sales, dues and retention experience preferred; grow memberships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field; CCM a plus.
• Genuine, member-first hospitality mindset; able to engage courtside and in budget reviews.
• Willingness to operate seven days a week including evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Own the full P&L across dues, fees, F&B, events, and recreation; deliver results.
• Lead and develop department heads: Racquet Sports, Aquatics, F&B, Events, Facilities.
• Set the member experience tone; be visible on courts, by the pool, and in dining.
• Drive membership growth and retention with the membership/sales team.
• Keep the property inspection-ready and manage capital projects for long-term value.
• Ensure full regulatory and safety compliance across health, employment law, and standards.
• Represent Homestead to members, the community, and ownership.
