The Country Club of Orlando, a historic private club in Central Florida, seeks a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer to lead strategic and operational efforts while upholding our traditions. The successful candidate will guide the management team, enhance member experiences, and ensure financial sustainability.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in a GM/COO role within a member-owned or equity club, exceptional communication, and a track record of working with Boards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a GM/COO role or equivalent senior leadership within a private club.
• Strong communications skills and relationship-building with members, staff, and the Board.
• Proven experience working with Boards, committees, and governance processes.
• Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term fiscal stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership while preserving club traditions and culture.
• Foster collaborative governance and align priorities with the long-term vision.
• Cultivate member relationships and deliver exceptional experiences across all club amenities.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and business planning for financial sustainability.
• Oversee capital planning, major projects, and facilities modernization in partnership with leadership.
