Job summary

St Ives Country Club in Johns Creek, GA seeks a General Manager / Chief Operating Officer to lead its premier private club.)

The GM/COO will oversee all staff, operations, financial performance, and member experience, reporting to the President and Board. This role requires strategic leadership, excellent communication, and a proven record of hospitality excellence in a club environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of progressive leadership experience within premier private clubs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management preferred.
• CCM designation is strongly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic vision and long-range plan with the President and Board.
• Oversee a multi-department leadership team and ensure service excellence.
• Manage annual operating budgets and financial performance, including capital plans.
• Foster a culture of outstanding member service and club operations.
• Communicate effectively with members, staff, and committees.
