Job summary

The Pacific Club in Newport Beach, CA seeks a Director of Finance / Controller to lead accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and internal controls. You will advise the General Manager on financial performance and coordinate with the Finance Committee, Board of Directors, and auditors.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, developing operating budgets, preparing monthly statements, and ensuring tax filings and vendor controls are accurate and timely. Salary range is $140,000-$150,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years accounting experience preferably in a private club or hospitality in California.
• Strong financial analysis, budgeting, accounting systems, and internal controls.
• Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel and Club Essentials.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounting Coordinator and Accounting Clerk.
• Direct accounting and budgeting policies, procedures, systems, and practices.
