Job summary

BDO USA, LLP’s Private Client Services practice seeks a Tax Managing Director to lead tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals and families, directing the team and communicating with clients at the highest level. The role emphasizes technical excellence, client service, and business development within a leading national firm.

The candidate will oversee complex returns, supervise staff, and contribute to practice leadership, with opportunities to shape strategy and mentoring across PCS

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in accounting, finance, or law.
• Expertise in the private client service area.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Experience working in public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads tax engagements and mentors the team in identifying client needs and opportunities.
• Acts as primary client contact for preparation and resolution of issues.
• Reviews complex tax returns and provides feedback to preparers.
