Job summary

BPM LLP in California seeks a Tax Manager within BPM's Private Client Services (PCS) practice to serve as trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, families, business owners, executives, and family offices, helping them navigate complex tax matters and preserve wealth across generations.

In this role you will lead sophisticated tax compliance and consulting engagements, supervise associates, and collaborate with Partners to deliver customized solutions and exceptional service with a hybrid

Qualifications

• 4+ years in public accounting.
• BS/BA in Accounting or related field; Masters preferred.
• CPA or EA licensed.
• Ability to research complex tax issues across varied entities/industries.
• Extensive tax research experience across entities and individual issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrates proactive thinking.
• Experience training and developing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and consulting to high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Oversee complex tax research projects for diverse clients and industries.
• Help clients minimize federal, state, and local tax liability.
• Supervise tax associates and manage day-to-day delivery of services.
• Develop and mentor tax seniors and associates with counseling and leadership.
• Manage multiple engagements delivering high-quality work timely and efficiently.
