BPM LLP seeks a Tax Director within its Private Client Services (PCS) practice to act as a strategic advisor for high-net-worth individuals, families, executives, and family offices. You will lead sophisticated tax planning, consulting, and compliance across various tax spheres, guiding clients through wealth preservation and transitions.

Based in the US, California, this hybrid role is ideal for candidates within commuting distance to BPM offices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in public accounting with an emphasis on Tax.
• Licensed CPA or EA.
• Ability to research and oversee complex tax issues and projects for a variety of entities and industries.
• Able to manage multiple complex projects and deliver on time.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and consulting to high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, and corporations.
• Oversee complex tax research projects for diverse clients and industries.
• Help clients minimize federal, state, and local tax liabilities.
• Supervise tax associates and manage day-to-day delivery of tax services.
• Develop and motivate tax seniors and associates with leadership and guidance.
• Manage multiple engagements and deliver high-quality work timely.
