Private Client Solicitor , Worcestershire
A unique opportunity to become the go-to person in a highly regarded, close-knit firm.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a small, well-established and highly respected firm in a stunning Worcestershire town.
With just three Partners, this is very much a close-knit practice where people know their clients, take pride in their reputation and build relationships that last. The firm has a loyal local client base, with a significant amount of new work coming through word of mouth, personal recommendations and reputation.
The Private Client team is exceptionally busy. The Partners' diaries are consistently full, and the firm's prominent high street location means they also see a huge number of clients simply walking through the door.
This is where you come in.
Make the role your own.
You will become the main point of contact and most senior person within the Private Client team, taking ownership of a varied caseload and becoming a trusted face for both existing and new clients.
The work is interesting and varied, including:
You will have the support of a dedicated Legal Assistant, and the firm also typically uses LEAP case management, allowing you to focus on the technical work and, importantly, your clients.
This is a role where you will have the opportunity to develop your own client relationships, make connections within the local community and establish yourself as the person clients know they can turn to.
This role would particularly suit someone who enjoys the personal side of Private Client work.
You may be an experienced Solicitor who has reached a point in your career where you want greater autonomy, visibility and ownership. Perhaps you are looking for somewhere that will allow you to step away from the more corporate, commercial environment of a larger practice and become a genuinely integral part of a local firm.
You will need to be experienced and confident enough to take responsibility for the team's work, but equally important will be your personality.
The ideal person will be:
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to process files.
It is an opportunity for someone who wants to know their clients, understand their families and circumstances, build trust and become a recognised and valued figure within the local community.
A firm where your contribution will be noticed.
With a small team and just three Partners, you will not be another number in a large department. Your contribution will be visible. Your ideas will be heard. And there is genuine scope for you to make this position your own.
The firm is also looking towards succession planning for the future, so for the right person there could be significant opportunities for career progression. While nothing is set in stone, there is certainly scope for this role to develop considerably over time.
The firm will offer a competitive salary based on experience, together with the usual benefits, including:
The firm's preference is for someone to be office-based for the full working week, or at least four days per week. Given the nature of the role, the clients and the amount of face-to-face contact, being part of the office and local community is an important part of the opportunity.
If you are an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking for something different - somewhere you can build genuine relationships, become known within the local community and have a real influence on the future of a successful independent firm - this could be an exceptional opportunity.
You will have the autonomy, support and client base to make the role your own, while being part of a friendly, established and close-knit team.
