Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an IC.G Portfolio Manager for Private Capital & Acquisition Finance to join the underwriting and portfolio management team.

You will assist in origination, evaluate new transactions, and oversee a subset of portfolio companies, delivering monitoring and risk assessments. You will perform LBO modeling, credit analysis, and quarterly reviews, contributing to credit rating recommendations and deal memo preparation for approvals and amendments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in relevant field.
• Four to six years of experience in corporate finance, credit or related roles.
• Strong accounting, financial analysis, and corporate finance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform LBO/financial modeling to evaluate new opportunities and monitor portfolios.
• Conduct quarterly borrower performance reviews and prepare monitoring reports.
• Prepare memos for new opportunities and credit approvals, including amendments.
• Assess borrower market and credit risk to determine appropriate recommendations.
• Develop understanding of underwriting policy and maintain portfolio oversight.
