Job summary

The National Bank of Indianapolis invites a Vice President and Private Banker to lead high-value client relationships, drive portfolio growth, and deliver tailored financial solutions. You will blend lending expertise with relationship management, acting as a trusted advisor across the Bank.

The role requires credit structuring, deal structuring, and strong communication skills to partner with internal teams and provide integrated wealth and banking services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of lending experience and 3+ years of business development success.
• Strong knowledge of credit structuring, pricing, and banking regulations.
• Proven ability to build and grow client relationships.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Active involvement in community or professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships and expand an existing Private Banking portfolio
• Structure and manage lending solutions, including home equity lines, personal loans, and credit facilities
• Oversee portfolio credit quality, including risk management, financial reporting, and exception resolution
• Partner with internal teams to deliver integrated banking and wealth solutions
• Supervise and coach a Client Support Manager
• Drive client engagement through regular contact, events, and community involvement
