Amegy Bank seeks a Private Banking Relationship Manager to join in San Antonio or Austin. The role combines leadership with hands-on client relationship management for a portfolio of high-value clients.

You will mentor team members, act as a subject matter expert in private banking products, and drive business development through referrals and tailored solutions. The position emphasizes leadership, client service, and strategic portfolio growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of progressive experience in Private Banking, including lending, sales, investment products, and wealth strategies.
• Proven ability in sales, credit analysis, loan structuring, and client relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of banking, commercial lending, mortgages, investments, trusts, and insurance products.
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Commitment to high-quality service and client satisfaction.
• Investment licenses (Series 7 & 63, or similar) a plus, but not required.
• San Antonio or Austin candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead as team lead and SME for private banking products and services.
• Manage a portfolio of high-value clients and mentor team members.
• Develop and follow up on new client leads through referrals and cross-department collaboration.
• Conduct credit analysis and proper loan structuring; review client portfolios.
• Collaborate with leadership on team performance and strategic initiatives.
